PSS3 Dark Payit There's a reason that Dark Payit didn't even appear hear in the Workshop at any point.  I had started working on this years ago and then abandoned the project even before Ravenloft was updated for 5e.  I picked up the 5e conversion recently and it inspired me to take the project back up and I managed to put together all the materials I had in a single evening.   The description on DMsGuild reads: A New Ravenloft Domain based off the setting of Maztica! Following the Era of the Immortals in Maztica came what was known as the Golden Age of Payit. This was a time of plenty for all of Maztica when humanity flourished. Payit and Far Payit both excelled in culture, developing in technology, medicine, astronomy and magic. Though this Golden Age has no official start or finish, the murder of the beautiful Princess Aliah was widely believed to be the herald of its downfall. Destined to marry her half-brother Xetl, a jealous suitor named Tacal who was himself prince of th

The Idea Mill

Occasionally, I look back to old ideas and concepts that I never got around to working on and start to wish I had enough time to get to them all.   I have also sworn to myself I wouldn't beat a campaign into the dirt by producing too much content so I keep m y own personal work at about fifteen supplements per campaign.  I have reached that now for both Maztica and  Anchôromé and I   am quickly approaching it in Lopango. So what I will do here is paste in some of my more developed ideas that I have abandoned with truly no intention of returning.  If you want to use what is here for a personal campaign or even develop it further for commercial use, be my guest.  If you can, just notify me and a shout out in the credits would be kind as well, but it isn't completely necessary.  I just want to know they helped someone.  I will also provide links to whatever you produce here. Please note that each of these ideas is unedited and not always fully thought out.  I will update it as I

Hyperborean Comics

On a random search while researching for Maztica, I came across an entire series of comic characters based completely off of Maztica Alive! There are dozens of characters here and plenty of ideas for adding to a Maztica Alive! campaign! It all looks to have been created by an artist known as " HyperboreanTom. " Hyperborean Comics

The following reviews are "Let's Read's" written by VoidDrifter on RPGNet   Unfortunately, he seems to have been banned from the site, leaving only reviews for the campaign guides and Teoatl Magic .  I was hoping he could have continued with some of the others. The review of Teoatl Magic is a few pages into the Maztica Campaign Guide review. Workshop: LPA3 Valley of the Puma

Image
Hatunallpa , the megadungeon I have been working on was already going to be a tough project to complete, but now with Google Drive no longer serving as a host to images, I will have to replace the entire set of images using Imgur.  I'm pretty upset about this, and I will have to shelve Hatunallpa for a time (I promise it will be completed though!). This new development however, still leaves me feeling as if I absolutely need another exciting adventure for Lopango however. So I am coming back to an idea I had a long time ago when I was working on LPS1 Monsters of Lopango , and that is an adventure called the Valley of the Puma. Some of my favorite monsters in LPS1 were the werepuma, the updated leskylor from the 3.5 Edition Book of Exalted Deeds , and the llama-fiend known as the qarqacha.  They are all going to feature heavily in this adventure. I also still want to add new playable races to Lopango and I thought a werepuma-descended longtooth shifter  would be fun.   Maybe I will

GMBinder for "Dummies"

Image
Using GMBinder (and Homebrewery for some) can make quite the difference in the appearance of a project.  I get the impression however, that some might be intimidated by the need to know coding. Well, I am no coder or programmer and I have been using GMBinder (somewhat) successfully for years now.  Almost everything I have done has been discovered through trial and error after copying and pasting code.  If you are interested in trying it yourself, I will have a sequence of small lessons here that allow you to skip over many of the mistakes I made. I must repeat however, that I am not skilled in coding.  My trial-and-error training and my potentially bizarre methods mean there are likely far better ways to accomplish what I will demonstrate, and I just don't know them.  It's the best I can do, but I promise I will make it easy. If you are interested, start with the following and then maybe give my first "lesson" on making a cover for your book!  Watch how hooked you get
